The Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program (OMMCP) is operated by three different regulatory bodies: the Department of Commerce, the Pharmacy Board and the State Medical Board. The Department of Commerce oversees cultivators, processors and testing labs. The Pharmacy Board supervises dispensaries, patients/caregivers and products. The Medical Board certifies physicians and reviews qualifying conditions.

The next Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program (OMMCP) Medical Marijuana Advisory Committee Meeting is scheduled for December 12, in Columbus, at the Rhodes Tower Lobby Hearing Room, beginning at 10 am. This committee of fourteen members represent multiple aspects of Ohio’s medical marijuana industry (pharmacists, doctors, patients, law enforcement, agriculture, caregivers, labor, employers, research, etc.) Prior to June 2019, they held their open meetings on a bi-monthly basis. Past agendas were posted the night before and included program reports and updates. Follow the link below for more information.
